Those experiences taught me invaluable lessons in leadership, resilience, and unwavering commitment. In the face of adversity, I learned the true meaning of teamwork and mission command, skills that have been the foundation of my career ever since.

After my time in the military, I took on a new challenge: transforming my family’s 130-year-old fruit farming business, Bardsley England. Over eight incredible years, I spearheaded a strong growth trajectory, scaling the business by 1400%. It wasn’t just about growth; it was about building a great brand, culture and challenging the status quo. As a result we set a new standard in the industry. My vision and strategic acumen helped position Bardsley England as an industry leader, culminating in a successful sale of the business in 2021.

It’s a formidable challenge, but one I’m deeply committed to having been a frustrated farmer myself. I founded BX to enable food producers globally to be part of the climate crisis solution. Having been a farmer myself, I know the pain, struggle and effort it takes to put food on plates.
